The Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) (external link) provides information about the levels, distribution and make-up of earnings and hours paid for employees within industries, occupations and regions.

NOMIS (external link) includes data about the labour market profile of an area. Data includes population, employment, unemployment, qualifications, earnings, benefit claimants and businesses. You can search by local authority area and interrogate the data sets including by age and gender. Results can be displayed as maps or an Excel spreadsheet.

The Workplace Employment Relations Study (WERS) (external link) is a national survey of people at work in Britain. It collects data from employers, employee representatives and employees in a representative sample of workplaces.
