Council tax

We collect council tax from residents to help pay for the local services like policing, refuse collection, roads, schools, and in some areas the parish council. Council tax applies to all domestic properties, whether owned or rented.

Money is collected on behalf of us as the borough council, the county council, the Lancashire Police Authority, Lancashire Combined Fire Authority.
