There are many ways to pay your council bills.
You can pay
by... debit/credit card, payment card,
cheque, or postal order.
Online
By debit/credit card using
online payments.
On the phone
By debit/credit card using the telephone payment line on
08453 052 146.
By direct debit or standing order
You can set up a direct debit to a number of council bills:
Please note: direct debits are taken
on either the 1st or 15th of each month. However, as your rent
is due weekly in advance, your direct debit payment must be paid in
advance to prevent your account falling into arrears. If this is
acceptable, please fill in the information and send the mandates to
us indicating your preferred payment date. As there will be a
number of weeks lead in time to the first payment, it is important
you continue to pay your weekly rent up to the first direct debit
payment.
You can set up a standing order to pay rent, council tax,
business rates, council mortgages, community charge and sundry
debts.
By post
By post using cheques or postal orders to Financial Services, 52
Derby Street, Ormskirk, West Lancashire L39 2DF. Please do not send
cash through the post.
In person
You can also pay at your local Post Office or Paypoint Outlet using
a plastic payment card. Contact Customer Services on 01695
577177 to request a card.
