Skelmersdale Ambassadors Network

The Skelmersdale Ambassadors Network event will provide your business with the opportunity to make business connections; hear more about the Skelmersdale Ambassadors Network and from influential guest speakers including:

  • Dr Michele Lawty-Jones, Director of the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub (part of the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership)
  • Stefan Montarius, Site Manager at SCA Hygiene Products Ltd
  • Serge Patrick-Heselton, Operations Director at Solid Sheds
  • Peter Richards, Strategic Planning & Implementation Manager from the Borough Council to discuss the local Plan and its importance to businesses

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a coffee and light refreshments, and network with businesses and fellow Ambassadors.

The event will take place on Wednesday 17 May, 7.45am-9.30am at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk.

Learning & Development Networking Events

Learndirect are hosting free business networking events across Lancashire. As well as networking, this is also an opportunity for your business to learn about their new programme offering free training to Lancashire employers of all sizes (whatever your sector).

The networking events will be taking place on:

  • Thursday 27 April 8.30am-10.30am - Brockholes, Samlesbury
  • Thursday 11 May 8.30am-10.30am - Ribby Hall, Wrea Green

OWL Business Focus

OWL (Ormskirk and West Lancashire) Business Focus is a group of business people who live, work or trade in the Ormskirk or West Lancashire area. It is a member-led organisation which enables connections to be made between individual members, their organisations, other business groups and the wider community.

The group meet regularly to provide members with the opportunity to network with other businesses, hear project updates from the group and guest speakers, and to find out more about our training programmes and social events.
