The Council, as 'licensing authority', is required to produce a Statement of Licensing Policy. This important document sets out the guiding principles by which the licensing authority will make its decisions. The document can be reviewed at any time, however the licensing authority must formally review the document every 5 years. It is therefore important that all applicants and existing licence holders are aware of the contents of the Policy.
This Policy was agreed by full Council on 17 December 2014, published on 7 January 2015 and is effective from 7 February 2015.
This Policy shall remain in effect for five years and will be reviewed no later than the 7 February 2020.
