Business Link Northwest provide 5 main services:
1. An information
service: a free, impartial service that provides
access to relevant, up to date information on almost any business
topic.
Information they can provide
includes: general business
and market intelligence, finding a local supplier and product
sourcing, how to find
suitable business premises,
employment law, UK and European legislation
and initiatives, tax, self assessment, payroll and
vat, information to help
start a new business,
sources of grants and loans and much more.
2.
Tailor made solutions: where specialist advice or consultancy is
required, Business Link offers an 'honest broker' service and
can provide tailor made solutions and access to a broad
range of private, public and voluntary business support
services.
3.Train to
Gain: this service is to help businesses understand
and source the training they need by offering impartial,
flexible and responsive advice that is free of charge. Train to Gain
provides access to fully funded, partially funded and full
cost training depending on the eligibility of the employer and
their employees.
4. Enterprise Europe
Network: the Enterprise Europe Network
(EEN) in the North West is part of over 280 Enterprise
Europe Networks in over 46 countries. Business Link have contact with
all EENs so they
have a wide geographical reach to help
businesses take advantage
of the opportunities that Europe offers.
5. Supplier
zone: a database of suppliers of business
support services in the North West from either the public, private
or voluntary sector.
