Sanko Gosei UK Ltd developed their £3 million European Headquarters
and plant in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire, in 1987, supported by
£1.3 million of Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) grant. The
company is part of the world-wide Sanko Gosei Ltd Group whose
headquarters are in Toyama, Japan and is a specialist tool maker
and plastic injection moulder. The company design and manufacture
components for clients in the automobile and business equipment
markets such as Honda, Nissan, Rover, Volvo, Canon and Sanyo.
Since locating to West Lancashire, Sanko Gosei's turnover has
increased tenfold. The business has achieved ISO 9001, ISO 14001
and QS 9000.

UK, and the country's cost-effective manufacturing costs made
Britain the ideal location for our European base," explained Niino
