Data protection
Some of the information that we hold is personal.
The Data Protection Act gives you the right to see personal
information we hold about you, either on computer
files or paper records, unless it is subject to Data
Protection Exemptions. All requests for personal data are dealt
with under the Data Protection Act, where they relate to the
individual making the request. If you are seeking information about
another person (a third party) this would be dealt with under the
Freedom of Information Act. So you may have access to any
information we hold about you. If you want to seek information
about another person, your request should be made under FOI, and
that request may be subject to FOI Exemptions.
Requests for personal information
You can apply to see information we hold about you. Requests are
known as 'subject access requests'. Download and complete the
subject access request and we will provide all the current data we
hold. There is a £10 charge for this service and payment must be
paid, by cheque only, before the request can be
completed.
