Citizens' Guide 2008 hits the streets
Read all about it! Yes, West Lancashire District Council's
Citizens' Guide 2008 is out now - so make sure you get your
copy.
The Guide is currently being delivered to homes across West
Lancashire and is jammed packed with useful information for
residents about Council services.
There's everything listed from leisure services to recycling and
with an easy to use A to Z index it makes it quicker to find what
you are looking for. It also includes a four-page pullout listing
all local councillors contact details along with their individual
pictures, a ward map, information about democracy and a timetable
of meetings for 2008.
Also back by popular demand is a section dedicated to clubs and
organisations, as well as listing the services that Lancashire
County Council provides.
And this year there's also a feedback form to give residents the
opportunity to give their views about the publication.
Cllr Geoff M. Roberts, the Leader of the Council, said: "Our
Citizens' Guide is an extremely popular publication because it is
so useful to keep around the house and it's simple A to Z format
makes it easy to find information. It's also packed with other
useful numbers and services - so make sure you keep it handy! This
year, we have also decided to include a feedback form as we are
always keen to listen to our residents and make even further
improvements to our publications - so make sure you give us your
views."
The Citizens' Guide is produced by the Council and Graphic Design
and is supported by advertising revenue. It is available in other
formats upon request.
If you've not received one, visit a-z of organisations pages and download a copy or order one online.
