Give your business a helping hand for 2008 with free
workshops
If you are thinking of setting up a business, or already run a
venture in West Lancashire, why not sign up for one of our free
workshops.
The District Council's Enterprising West Lancashire Team has just
launched its 2008 programme of events, which has been designed to
help new and established organisations to develop their
business.
There's everything from health and safety, telephone skills,
book-keeping, recruitment, business continuity planning, getting
started in business and doing appraisals for staff.
Cllr Ian Grant, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and Planning,
said: "Last year's programme of free events was so popular that we
have decided to run a series of workshops again to benefit new and
established businesses. They are a great way to really develop your
business, find out how to grow and prosper and are designed to both
help, support and inspire. It's also a great opportunity for
like-minded entrepreneurs to network and to find out what other
help the Council can give too."
The team also provides tailored one-to-one support to anyone
thinking about starting a new venture or for established
businesses, as well as activities such as networking opportunities
and workshops.

majority of workshops take place at West Lancashire Investment
