Jam Packed July at Coronation Park

A fun-filled diary of events makes Coronation Park in Ormskirk the place to be this July.

 

From artists to nature lovers, there’s something for everyone with the range of events on offer.

 

Cllr, Geoff Hammond, Portfolio Holder for Community Services, said: "From splashes of colour at the Children’s Art Day to all the fun of the fair - everyone can find something to enjoy and interest them with the variety of events on offer in Coronation Park this July."

 

Sunday 20 July, 2pm - 4pm

Brilliant, Beautiful Butterflies

Take a closer look at some of natures most beautiful and delicate creatures and find out how to attract more to your own garden. Entrance is free. Booking for this event is essential and can be done from 9am on Saturday 19 July. Contact Chris Horsfall on 07824 625321 or email chris.horsfall@westlancsdc.gov.uk.

 

Saturday 26 July, 12pm-4pm

Ormskirk Radio - Fun Day

Join Ormskirk Radio for an action-packed day featuring a variety of fun filled activities. There will be various activities taking place throughout the day to help raise money for Ormskirk Hospital.

 

Sunday 27 July, 12pm - 4pm

Day of Dance

Join groups from the local area and further a field for performances celebrating the many forms of dance. This event is free of charge. Meet at the bandstand at the park.

 

Wednesday 30 July - Sunday 3 August, 12pm - 10pm

John Silcock’s Funfair

John Silcock and his fabulous funfair return for their annual visit to Ormskirk.
