Stories come to life at Chapel Gallery
‘Tall Tales’ are being told at the Ormskirk Chapel Gallery’s
next family friendly event.
On Saturday 19 July the amazing storyteller Fran O’Boyle will be
keeping you glued to your seat with his truly imaginative tales. He
will make you laugh and maybe even make you cry, but at the end you
will just want more. This is defiantly a fun experience - something
the whole family will enjoy.
Sessions are free and are on at 10.30am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, each
one lasting 45 minutes.
Cllr Geoff Hammond, Portfolio Holder for Community Services,
said: "Fran really does have some amazing tales to tell so make
sure you come along and listen! It’s also a great way for parents
to spend quality time with their children in the friendly
surroundings of Chapel Gallery at a fun event."
This latest workshop is part of the gallery’s brand new family
friendly activities programme to enhance its already excellent
facilities.
There are one or two special events planned for each month for
mums, dads and children to join in, from design and drama to
drawing!
Every Saturday, the gallery also provides a room dedicated to
creative pastimes for both the parents and youngsters to enjoy.
Whilst there, visitors can meet the gallery’s friendly team or join
in the specially designed activities to accompany the present
exhibition on show.
