Talk business
online!
Let’s talk business and join the brand new free web-based forum
that’s about to be launched in West Lancashire.
West Lancashire District Council’s Enterprising West Lancashire
Team is about to unveil an online debate/discussion forum for new
and established organisations to join.
The idea behind it is to encourage businesses to:
· Market their business in the West Lancashire Directory
· Build relationships with fellow entrepreneurs
· Keep up to date on news that will affect businesses
· Get involved in shaping the district by discussing with other
forum members and the public sector about issues affecting your
business
The launch of the forum and speed network event is on 24 June,
from 6pm to 8pm.
To get involved, register at www.ltbforum.co.uk. To book a
place at the launch event contact 01695 577177 or email
info@westlancsdc.gov.uk.
Cllr Adrian Owens, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, said:
"This is a fantastic initiative which will allow business
relationships in West Lancashire to flourish. It will also allow
the Council to engage with local businesses and find out what their
needs and wants are. The business directory for the district will
be a great way for businesses to promote themselves free of charge.
As the director of a local small business myself, I have already
signed up to the forum. I would urge entrepreneurs to sign up too
and talk business!"
The project has been made possible through the District Council
securing funding from the West Lancashire Local Strategic
partnership through the Second Homes Fund.
