Christmas surprises galore at Chapel Gallery
Stuck for gift ideas for Christmas? Then why not visit the
contemporary craft shop at Ormskirk's Chapel Gallery, which is a
hidden gem of wonders.
You will find that the shop inside the Gallery, off St Helens Road,
is full of unusual and unique present ideas for loved ones.
Visitors will have the chance to choose from a variety of
fascinating products including pretty ceramics, glassware,
paintings and other crafts.
For the ladies there's eye-catching jewellery, pretty bags and
handmade scarves. For the men there's unusual cufflinks,
hand-printed silk ties and nice tiepins to match, as well as
leather-bound diaries. Parents may also want to pick up some cute
stocking fillers for their children.
There is also a great range of seasonal decorations and individual,
handcrafted cards for that special festive touch.
Whilst shopping away from the bustle of town, you can also visit
the Gallery's latest exhibition, Objects of Desire, which includes
a display of mesmerising crafts including metalwork and lighting!
Or relax at the café with a hot drink and pick a yummy treat off
the food menu.
Cllr Rob Bailey, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, said: "Finding
special presents can be such a hard task but at Chapel Gallery
there are so many unusual items you will be spoiled for choice.
It's also a great opportunity to check out the latest exhibition
and catch up with friends over a coffee in the café."
The Gallery, off St Helens Road, is open from 10am to 4.30pm,
Tuesday to Saturday. Entrance is free. For more information visit
the Chapel
Gallery section.
