Splash into 2008 with H2O SwimLife
Make 2008 a healthy one and sign up for the latest swimming courses
that start in the New Year.
Nye Bevan Pool in Skelmersdale and Park Pool in Ormskirk are now
accepting enrolments for the next course of SwimLife swimming
lessons, starting the week commencing 7th January 2008.
The H2O SwimLife swimming lesson programme is available for
children from the age of 6 months old onwards and children who join
do not need to have swimming experience to qualify for the
course.
Lessons focus on teaching key skills such as treading water, starts
and turns, dives and stroke technique and children are rewarded for
their progress every length of the way.
Bill Lloyd, Chairman of the Community Leisure Trust, said:
"Swimming is a great way to exercise and provides so much fun and
enjoyment. So why not encourage your child to participate in
regular exercise from an early age and start the New Year with
something to look forward to by enrolling on one of these popular
courses."
The H2O SwimLife swimming lesson programme is well established in
the West Lancashire area and to enrol all you need to do is contact
either Nye Bevan Pool on 01695 727111 or Park Pool on 01695 576325.
To make it even easier, payment for the H2O Swim Life swimming
lesson programme can be made by monthly Direct Debit instalments
which also provide a host of additional benefits including swimming
costume, goggles and much more!
Cllr Rob Bailey, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, said: "The good news
is that the swimming lessons aren't just designed for youngsters,
as the two facilities offer parent and toddler swimming sessions
throughout the week in addition to adult swimming lessons too! So
lots of fun for all the family."
The Trust has responsibility for the five leisure centres across
the district: Nye Bevan Pool, Park Pool, Skelmersdale Sports
Centre, Banks Leisure Centre and Burscough Fitness and Racquets
Leisure Centre.
