Calling
craft makers for popular Christmas event
Artists and craftmakers are being sought after for this year’s
popular Christmas Fine Art Contemporary Craft Event.
Anyone who is interested has the fantastic opportunity to sell
their goods at the Chapel Gallery’s popular Christmas event, now in
its eighth year.
This year it will be on Friday 28 November, starting 12noon
until 8pm, and they are looking to select talented individuals to
sell their wares.
The team are keen to attract
craftmakers who specialise in a variety of artworks including
jewellery, ceramics, textiles, prints and paintings.
Cllr Geoff Hammond, Portfolio Holder for Community Services,
said: "This popular event is an ideal way to showcase your talents
and to present unusual gift ideas for Christmas to shoppers who
come along to the event. It’s also a good opportunity for artists
and craftmakers to sell their works in a professional environment.
However, there are only a few spaces left so hurry."
There are still some places left
for those who would like to apply. But due to increasing demand,
sellers are being encouraged to apply as soon as possible to stand
the best chance of selection for a stall. If you are interested in
applying, contact the Chapel Gallery, St Helens Road, Ormskirk on
01695 571328 for more details.
The public can visit the Gallery, off St Helens Road, anytime
from 10am to 4.30pm, Tuesday to Saturday. The café is open from
10am to 4pm. Entrance is free. To find out more contact 01695
571328 or visit the Gallery’s website - www.chapelgallery.org.uk or our Chapel Gallery pages.
