We deal with complaints concerning drainage issues and refuse and it is estimated that the section will investigate almost two hundred complaints about these issues this year. In addition we also deal with complaints concerning properties which may be filthy or verminous as well as exhumations of the deceased should they be necessary.
The Council has a responsibility to make arrangements for public health funerals where no other person makes suitable arrangements. A register of such arrangements that have taken place since 1 January 2012 can be downloaded below. The register will be routinely updated with details of any public health funerals arranged by the Council.
