West Lancashire is a safe place to live but
emergencies can happen at any time. These emergencies are usually
dealt with by the emergency services – police, fire and
ambulance.
Major emergencies - like flooding, release of chemicals
or need for evacuation – may also happen. When they
do, many different agencies, including the Council, will be
involved in the response.
