Community Action and Engagement Day - Tanhouse

Residents are invited to join in the Community Action and Engagement Day.

Community skips funded by the West Lancashire Community Safety Partnership will be on site from 9.30am and removed the same day, once full.

A range of WLCSP agencies will offer support and advice on the following themes:

  • The Council’s Environmental Enforcement Team will provide information on environmental issues and conduct visual audits with the Council’s Estates Management Team and Fire Service personnel
  • The Police will hold a street surgery on each day to meet local residents. Police officers will also carry out bike security marking, which will be backed up with ‘Alpha Dot’ stickers that are a high visibility deterrent to potential thieves.
  • Fire Service personnel will meet people to arrange home fire safety checks and give information about fire safety issues
  • Lancashire Wellbeing will be on hand to help anyone who has concerns over their finances, health and fitness, mobility and transport, relationships and family, employment and housing. The organisation can also help people feeling anxious, stressed, isolated, or simply overwhelmed and unable to cope, and can be contacted at Lancashire Wellbeing Service (external link).
