Chequer Lane Fishing Lake, Up Holland
Chequer Lane Fishing Lake - which opened in 2005 - is a major catch for residents across the borough who want somewhere tranquil to fish.
The lake is open to both young and old alike who want to experience fishing in a friendly and peaceful environment, although fishing is only permitted during daylight hours.
*Chequer Lane is currently undergoing a makeover. Work is under way to improve access to the site and upgrade the boundary fencing. Early in 2016 a new play area and picnic area will also be opening.
