Rangers: visitor service

Rangers: visitor services
countryside walk signpostThe Rangers produce a range of literature looking at the wildlife and history of the countryside sites, and with details of events and activities, and maps and locations. All these are available from the information cabin at Beacon Country Park.

We also send information by post to people who join our mailing list. If you would like to be added to our mailing list for guided walks or events and activities, and other information about the countryside sites, then please email your contact information to the Rangers.

We also provide bright, bold, and distinctive park signs to help identify park locations, and clear direction signs within the parks and open spaces to help visitors find their way. Special features help to enhance visits to the sites and a number of art and craft projects leave a legacy of interesting features in the landscape.
