The Chairman, accompanied by Chief Executive
Bill Taylor and Rosie Cooper MP, will lay a wreath at St Anne’s
Church in Ormskirk, before attending a ceremony at the parish
church at 10.30am. After the service, there will be a salute and
march past the Civic Hall to the Comrades Club, where the Chairman
will lay a wreath.
Vice Chairman Cllr Geoff M. Roberts,
accompanied by Deputy Chief Executive Les Abernethy, will lay a
wreath at Skelmersdale War Memorial in Sandy Lane at 11am.
Other wreath laying ceremonies will take place in Aughton,
Burscough, Lathom and Up Holland. Please contact your
