The
English Indices of Deprivation 2010 (external link) are
the Government’s official measure of multiple deprivation at small
area level.
Census 2011
The last
Census (external link) for England and Wales took place on
27 March 2011. The first release of 2011 Census data provides
household estimates, and population estimates by age and sex, for
England and Wales and local authorities. Further releases will be
made during 2012.
