Views will help shape the future for Ormskirk and Burscough
A major community consultation exercise has taken place to find out resident's views on how to improve Ormskirk and Burscough.

As part of the Market Towns Initiative, which aims to revitalise the two towns and surrounding areas, local people, businesses and young people were asked for their ideas on what they thought would give the places a new lease of life. The response rate was excellent and many people gave additional useful comments about local issues.

Questionnaires were sent to households, businesses and schools in Ormskirk and Burscough and responses can be viewed by downloading the documents listed below. Return figures list the issues in priority order - with priority 1 representing the item that people feel is the highest priority for the town and 72 being the lowest priority. This does not mean that low priority issues are not important, it just means that, in general, people were more passionate about the higher priority issues.
