Parking fines and enforcement
Councils are now responsible for parking enforcement,
penalty charge notices, payments and appeals through a system
called Parkwise.
Council civil enforcement officers carry
out on-street parking checks and patrol the council operated
car parks. Penalty charge notices are up to £70, reduced by
50% if paid within 14 days.
