From 1 April 2013, a new partnership will help to continue
to improve the quality of life for everyone in West Lancashire
following the decision to conclude the West Lancashire Local
Strategic Partnership.
‘One West Lancashire’ will be a strategic forum of the public,
private and community sectors to work together to improve the
health, social, economic, educational and environmental wellbeing
of West Lancashire.
One West Lancashire will be administered by West Lancashire CVS
and key partners will include West Lancashire Borough Council,
Lancashire Police, Edge Hill University, West Lancashire College,
Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust, NHS West Lancs Clinical
Commissioning Group, Lancashire County Council, the Environment
Agency, voluntary, community and faith representatives, and private
sector (local business) representatives.
