Would you like to contribute to the local community and make a difference to the local area, whilst gaining valuable work experience in addition to working towards achieving an Apprenticeship Framework Qualification in Horticulture? If so, we would like to hear from you.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for two Street Scene Services Apprentice's to join our team within Street Scene Services. As a Street Scene Apprentice you will work as part of an experienced team, carrying out a range of environmental street cleansing and grounds maintenance tasks across the Borough, working under the guidance of a Team Leader/Operational Supervisor. In addition, to gaining those job-specific skills, you will also complete an Apprenticeship Framework Qualification in Horticulture.

You will hold minimum qualifications of GCSE English and Maths, Grade C or above (or a grade 4 or above under the new qualification framework). You will have an enthusiastic and positive approach to training and on the job learning, an interest in gardening, horticulture and maintaining the environment
