We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Waste Management Officer to join our team within our Refuse and Recycling section.
As a Waste Management Officer you will work as part of a team, to provide comprehensive direction and support as a frontline co-ordinator of day-to-day operations within Street Scene services. You will promote the service through engagement with residents and businesses within the Borough to seek sustainable recycling participation in addition to considering opportunities to further streamline the service and generate income.
The successful candidate will have experience of planning and programming work schedules, co-ordinating work across a number of teams and experience in utilising IT resources to achieve maximum service delivery objectives. You will have experience of promoting and communicating information to the public and be able to display a positive attitude towards the Councils purpose and values.
