Springwatch is here for the Junior Rangers
Junior Rangers can get into the seasonal spirit at their local park and enjoy crafts and games to help them explore nature at a series of exciting Springwatch events.
West Lancashire Borough Council’s Parks and Countryside Service organise the Junior Rangers events which are aimed at children aged between five and 12.
At the Springwatch activities Junior Rangers will learn more about local wildlife and discover more about the new season’s trends and changes.
These will take place at the following places, all starting at 2pm:
- Coronation Park, Ormskirk, Monday 18 April
- Beacon Country Park, Up Holland, Tuesday 19 April
- Stanley Coronation Park, Skelmersdale, Wednesday 20 April
- Richmond Park, Burscough, Thursday 21 April
The children will require adult supervision from someone aged 18 or over throughout the Junior Rangers events. Places at each activity are limited. Booking opens seven days before each event and is essential to avoid disappointment. To request further information and to book places please email email@example.com or call 01695 622794. Please wear clothing and footwear that is suitable for the weather, ground conditions and the activity taking place at each event.
