Business high-flyers to speak at next Skelmersdale Ambassadors networking event

Businesses with connections to Skelmersdale can hear from inspirational local guest speakers about their business success stories and meet other business leaders at the next Skelmersdale Ambassadors business breakfast event.

The Skelmersdale Ambassadors Network is becoming a powerful group which aims to enable local businesses to raise their profile and as well showcase and celebrate Skelmersdale as a great place to live, work and invest.

The next exciting breakfast event takes place within the state of the art Tech Hub at Edge Hill University in Ormskirk, on Wednesday 17 May, from 7.45am to 9.30am.

As well as the opportunity to network, speakers on the morning will be: 

  • Dr Michele Lawty-Jones, Director of the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub (part of the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership)
  • Stefan Montarius, Site Manager at SCA Hygiene Products Ltd
  • Serge Patrick-Heselton, Operations Director at Solid Sheds
  • Peter Richards, Strategic Planning & Implementation Manager from West Lancashire Borough Council to discuss the Local Plan and its importance to businesses
