Councillor Savage is supporting the Neo-Natal Unit at Ormskirk Hospital; the Artz Centre, Birch Green; The Civic in Ormskirk and the Birchwood Centre, Skelmersdale during her mayoral year.

One of the fundraising fun events is an Irish Night on Friday 27 January 2017 at Skelmersdale Football Club, Skelmersdale, where singer Michael Coyne will be providing the entertainment. Tickets, priced £10 each, include refreshments with Irish Stew on the menu.

Football fans can enjoy “An evening of red and blue” sportsman’s dinner on Friday 3 February at Ormskirk Civic Hall at 7.30 pm. Former Everton player Kevin Sheedy and former Liverpool Manager Roy Evans are the guest speakers, and the evening will be hosted by top local comedian Sean Styles of Radio Merseyside fame. Tickets, priced £20 each, include a pie and pea supper.

Councillor Savage said: “Thank you to everyone who is helping me organise these events. They are going to raise important funds and be great fun for everyone who comes along. So make sure you buy your tickets quickly and don’t miss out.”
