Join one of our free health walks in Burscough or Ormskirk to get fresh air and exercise
Let your feet hit the street with our free Health Walks in the Burscough and Ormskirk areas.
West Lancashire Borough Council staff are leading weekly walks, suitable for both beginners and those returning to exercise.
A friendly welcome awaits all walkers, so come along and get some fresh air, meet new people and enjoy a well earned 'cuppa' at the end!
All walks last for one hour and there is no need to book – just turn up and enjoy the exercise.
Councillor David Sudworth, portfolio holder for Leisure, said: “Come along and join our health walks. They are a great way to get free regular exercise and People already taking part say the walks are a very enjoyable.”
The Burscough Health Walk takes place every Tuesday between 10am and 11am. Starting point for each walk is the Richmond Park Bowling Pavilion, off Junction Lane, Burscough.
Ormskirk Health Walks are on Wednesdays between 1pm and 2pm. Walkers should meet at the Coronation Park Bowling Pavilion, Ormskirk.
