Take part in the business survey 2014
People who run businesses in West Lancashire are being asked for their views about the challenges they face and how the Council can support them.
Surveys are being sent to around 1,700 businesses in the borough and an online version of the survey is also being launched on the business survey page to enable as many people as possible to take part.
Councillor Andrew Fowler, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, said: “I urge all business owners to complete the survey and share their views in order to help us identify issues that are central to local business success and economic prosperity.
“As well as helping us to assist businesses currently located within the borough, the results will also help us in our aim to attract inward investment and new jobs to West Lancashire.”
Supporting the local economy is a major priority for West Lancashire Borough Council. The survey will collect views on topics including staff, recruitment, supply chains and markets and opportunities and barriers to growth they face now and in the future.
The Council’s economic regeneration team provide a comprehensive advice and support service to help businesses succeed and grow. Results from the survey will help the Council understand the issues businesses are facing.
The surveys are being sent out in the post from Monday 14 July and can be returned in the pre-stamped envelope provided or completed online.
The survey should only take approximately 15 minutes to complete, and must be returned by Friday 1 August. The online survey will be available to complete until midnight on 1 August.
All information provided is confidential and responses will be combined with results of all the surveys received.
