Children can enjoy summer fun at the Chapel Gallery
There’s no need for children to be bored this summer with plenty of enjoyable arts activities taking place at the Chapel Gallery.
Youngsters aged 8-12 can start their day the arty way with exciting art sessions every morning form 10.30am–12.30pm Tuesday to Friday throughout August. Each session costs £5, but there are special offers of £15 for a week of sessions and £50 for all sessions over the whole month. A wide range of creative activities have been planned, including painting; sculpting, using mixed media and print. All sessions are facilitated by a professional artist. Children can attend these events unaccompanied. Fees must be paid in advance.
Pre-school children can enjoy free creative play sessions every Wednesday afternoon in August, between 2pm and 3.30pm. Boys and girls can experience how to use new materials and learn new skills, and create great art with their parents. The first session takes place on Wednesday 5 August, and a facilitator will be on hand to guide everyone. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
For further enquiries or to book on any of these sessions please call Chapel Gallery 01695 571328, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The West Lancashire Borough Council-run Gallery’s regular creative space will be available to use for free Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons between 2pm – 4pm. The space will be available for families to use with simple activities and basic materials to make and create together.
