Council Offices 
The Mayor & Mayoress will attend the “Fly a Flag for the Commonwealth” Ceremony when the Mayor will read a message from The Queen and read out the Commonwealth Affirmation prior to the raising of the Commonwealth Flag 
 
Tuesday 11 March 5pm 
Edge Hill University 
The Mayor & Mayoress will attend the Official Opening of the new Creative Edge Building
  
Tuesday 11 March 7.50pm 
Emmanuel Church, Ormskirk 
The Mayor & Mayoress will attend a meeting of the Emmanuel Fellowship and the Mayor will be their speaker for the evening 
 
Thursday 13 March 11am 
Ormskirk Library 
The Mayor & Mayoress will attend a visit with residents and staff from Hillcroft Nursing Home for a “Reading Hour”
 
Thursday 13 March 2pm 
Ringtail Retail Park, Ormskirk 
The Mayor & Mayoress will attend the official sod cutting for the new Booths store on the site
 
Thursday 13 March 4pm 
Council Chamber, Council Offices 
The Mayor & Mayoress will host a Reception for students from Erkrath in Germany during their exchange week with students from Ormskirk School
 
Friday 14 March 
Civic Hall, Ormskirk 
The Mayor & Mayoress will host the Annual Civic Dinner and Dance
 
Sunday 16 March 2.45pm 
Metropolitan Cathedral Liverpool 
The Mayor & Mayoress will attend a Mass being held to offer prayers and personal greetings to the newly named Cardinal Vincent Nichols who recently received the red hat in Rome by Pope Francis
