Children can show off their creative talents at the Chapel Gallery in the half term holidays
A great new venture is set to bring Chapel Gallery holiday activities alive.
Chapel Gallery and Creation Station will be working in partnership to deliver exciting activities for all ages during the May Half Term.
A programme of engaging activities is planned to start on Tuesday 27 May starting with a family-fun session the Mad Hatters Tea Party.
Adults and children from 18 months and above will be able to magic themselves to the Mad Hatters Tea Party where they will take part in a variety of exciting creative activities that includes making a Mad Hatter style hat and funky glasses. The Family Fun session will run between 10 am and 11.30am. The fee is £6 per child, or £4 for their brothers and sisters, with free entry for accompanying adults.
Later in the week two creative fun sessions are planned for those aged five and above. Shape Sculptures on Wednesday 28 May between 9am – 1pm will give the children the opportunities to design and create different shape sculptures using various materials and techniques.
Then on Thursday 29 May children can use print techniques and a wide variety of materials to create a piece of wall art to take home. The session takes place between 9am and 1pm.
Costs for these two sessions are £12 per child, or £8.50 for their brothers and sisters.
Children will be given a snack and drink but will need to bring their own lunch, or they can order one from the gallery café.
To book on any of the above sessions and for further details please contact Chapel Gallery on 01695 571328 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Places are limited so booking early is recommended to avoid disappointment.
There is also loads of free beastly fun to be had with our interactive activities, in the Beastly Machines Exhibition. Push a button and make the mosquito eyes’ flash red, meet the owl and the pussy cat and watch the dog come out of his kennel. Open daily Tuesday to Saturday 10am–4.30pm.
