Learn new skills at the creative learning classes for adults @ the Chapel Gallery

Do you have a passion for the arts? Are you looking to improve your skills or take up a new hobby?  Then why not take a look at the courses on offer for adults at Chapel Gallery. 
Professional artists who are experts in their field of work run each course.  The sessions offer students the chance to learn new techniques and may even inspire you to turn a hobby into a career. 
Life Drawing sessions start on Friday 11 April and continue once a month on a Friday evening 7-9pm. Artist Sarah Jane Richards facilitates the sessions open for all level of abilities. 
Creative Writing courses have been very successful. Writer Carol Fenlon will be leading a five-week course focusing on how to get your work published. Sessions start on Wednesday 16 April 7-9pm and are every two weeks. If you have been writing for a while and would like to take the next step, this could be the course for you. 
Creative Textiles group meets once a month on a Tuesday morning between 10am and midday. Artists Julie James Turner leads the sessions and comes up with knitting projects with a difference. 
Next session is 29 April, and refreshments and good conversation are also on offer. 
Councillor David Sudworth, portfolio holder for Leisure, said: “These courses are great for people to learn new skills or increase their expertise, so sign up for a course as soon as you can.”
