This exciting project aims to unite businesses and organisations across the area in a powerful network that will raise Skelmersdale’s profile.
Skelmersdale Ambassadors will act as powerful advocates to influence, attract investment and encourage business growth.
The Skelmersdale Ambassadors Network, alongside its new vibrant visual branding, aims to showcase Skelmersdale as a great place to live, work and do business. A Skelmersdale storybook was created to be part of the town’s new place branding
Ambassadors will be the first to know about exciting opportunities and developments in the local economy such Lancashire Local Enterprise Partnership strategies, or funding opportunities. they will have access to the new Skelmersdale storybook, artwork, images and many other marketing materials to help them promote their business and Skelmersdale, as well as increasing their network of contacts.
Councillor Ian Moran, Leader of West Lancashire Borough Council and portfolio holder for Economic Regeneration, said: “A key Council priority is to be ambitious for our economy by growing jobs and encouraging business and wealth. I would urge local firms to sign up and become ambassadors for our town to help make the local economy even stronger, which will benefit everyone living and working here.”
