Find out more about the excellent achievements of West Lancashire Borough Council’s Housing and Inclusion Service by taking a look at its annual report on our website.
Each year the Council produces the Housing Annual Report for tenants which details what the service has achieved over the previous 12 months.
This year the report is done as an eye-catching infographic and can be found at www.westlancs.gov.uk/annualreport.
Councillor Jenny Forshaw, portfolio holder for Housing and Landlord Services, said: “Tenants will find the Annual Report very interesting reading. The Housing and Inclusion Service staff can be very proud of the work they do. The service continues to provide excellent value for money through our partnerships and tendering processes by ensuring we get the best quality at the best price.”
West Lancashire Borough Council provides more than 6,000 homes for tenants. Working to deliver housing that meets the needs of local people, including affordable housing, and aiming to be a top performing landlord are important priorities in the borough’s Council Plan.
The Housing Annual Report highlights some impressive achievements for 2016/17. These include:
The Annual Report also tells tenants how much rent was collected in the course of 2016/17 and how their rent is spent. There is information showing some of the ways we are investing in the future, such as improvements to our direct debit collection processes and ways we gather customer feedback.
