The Mayor & Councillor Iain Ashcroft, as West Lancs Armed Forces Champion, will attend the School for the Burying of a Time Capsule to mark the School’s 300th Anniversary.  The area will then be covered with poppy seeds to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War

DW Stadium, Wigan
The Mayor & Consort will attend the Wrightington Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust Awards Recognition Evening

Saturday 8 November 7pm
Marine Hall, Fleetwood
The Mayor & Consort will attend The Northern Festival of Remembrance performed by the Band of The King’s Division and hosted by the Mayor & Mayoress of Wyre

Sunday 9 November 9.30am
St. Anne’s Church, Prescot Road, Ormskirk  The Mayor & Consort will attend the Ormskirk Remembrance Sunday Parade and Services commencing at St Anne’s, followed by the Memorial in Coronation Park and then the main Service of Remembrance in Ormskirk Parish Church

Sunday 9 November 11am
Memorial, Sandy Lane, Skelmersdale
The Deputy Mayor & Deputy Consort will attend the Skelmersdale Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service  

Sunday 9 November 1.30pm
The Mayor & Consort will attend the Burscough British Legion Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service
