Development Control are responsible for controlling the
development and use of land. This includes considering and issuing
decisions on planning applications and investigating alleged
breaches of planning control, potentially resulting in enforcement
action.
Development Control is supported by the Planning Support
section. Their responsibility includes the validation of
planning applications, providing information on fees and issuing
consultations and decision notices.
