Local Plan 2012-2027
The Local Plan will guide development in the borough until 2027.
It continues the work undertaken under the Local Development
Framework (LDF) system. The Local Plan 2012-2027 will
eventually replace the Replacement Local Plan 2001-2016.
Development Plan for West Lancashire 2001-2016
Under planning law, planning applications are to be judged
against the development plan for the area, unless material
considerations indicate otherwise. West Lancashire's
