Problems with pdf files?
If you get a blank page or an error message when trying to download
a pdf, you may need to upgrade your Adobe reader and/or your
browser. You will be able to do both of these for free.
There is a known problem with Internet Explorer version 5.0, you
need to be using at least version 5.5.
For further information on this problem please see the Microsoft
Product Support Service (external link) website.
You may also want to check Adobe's guide to configuring your
browser: configuring
your web browsers (external link). This also offers a
solution to change the settings in Adobe Reader so that the
file does not open in the browser.
Other tips
Sometimes you can view the document by refreshing the blank page
in your browser. In Internet Explorer you can do this by pressing
the F5 key.
You can also try right clicking the pdf name and selecting 'save
target as' from the resulting menu. Save the file onto your hard
drive and open using a pdf reader.
