West Lancashire Borough Council ran the People's Panel to gather
the views of local people about the Council and its work.
The People's Panel involved around 1,350 local residents who
agreed to take part in postal surveys.
The Panel was originally established in 2001 and it proved to be a
very successful method of enabling local people to give their
views.
