Each year all
local government sites are reviewed by Socitm (Society of
Information Technology Management) for the national Better
Connected survey.
We are consistently rated amongst the best council
websites in the country and for the second year running we've
been rated one of the top 20 -with the highest possible
ranking of four stars!

"A well presented, well cared for site that
scores well virtually across the board. I particularly appreciated
the way that every journey would lead to the same page or set of
pages on a topic, so I never experienced half duplicated content
scattered in different places. I always felt sure of where I was
supposed to be, the popular tasks and other panels helped my
journey through. The quality of the content was usually very
