Improving sustainability and reducing carbon emissions across West Lancashire is important to us. To help achieve this we have developed a sustainable energy strategy to inform, guide, and progress carbon reduction projects across the borough.
The objectives of the strategy are to improve the energy efficiency of West Lancashire's buildings, reduce fuel poverty, increase renewable energy generation, and encourage sustainable business and travel.
The strategy also includes action plans showing how we intend to achieve this, working in partnership with local stakeholders and communities, and provides useful information on a wide range of topics for homeowners, businesses, and developers.
