Home Care Link and Lifeline Alarm System

Our Home Care Link emergency response system provides 24-hour help to council residents in sheltered housing schemes. It also provides a telecare lifeline alarm service to over 8,000 private properties, companies and public sector organisations.      

What is a Lifeline alarm?  

Our Home Care Link telecare alarm service is an easy-to-use personal emergency response system that enables people to remain independent and safe in their own homes.

The service can be used to provide long-term comfort and independence to anyone who may be at risk in their home; or for short-term peace of mind, for instance, whilst recovering from illness.    

How does it work?

The Lifeline alarm service is a personal alarm system which is connected by your telephone line to our 24-hour monitoring centre.     

It is a call button which can be worn on the wrist or around the neck. When the call button is activated our highly skilled operators respond immediately and take the appropriate action to ensure your safety.    

Easy installation

We can provide the service in any home regardless of the size, layout or location of the property. All you need is a power point near to where your main phone line comes into your property.

Additional sensors can also be added for extra peace of mind and security. These range from things such as sensors linked to smoke detectors, automatic fall detectors (worn like a watch), and door exit alarms for people who may wander.  

How much does it cost?

We provide free assessments and demonstrations with no obligation.

The cost for an alarm unit with call button is £3.00 per week, with an initial installation fee (within the West Lancashire area) of £30.00. We also provide the service outside of the West Lancashire area. Please contact us for information.

For an extra 90p per week we can provide a linked smoke detector, which will monitor your property 24-hours a day.  Additional sensors can be added to meet individual needs. Packages start from £6.00 per week which includes an alarm unit and two extra sensors. The installation fee is £40.00.
