Are you ready to bring the magic of winter to our community?
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced event organisers and creative partners to host a Winter Wonderland themed festive event in Coronation Park, Ormskirk. We invite you to help create a magical, joyful, and festive atmosphere, attracting residents and tourists to celebrate the winter season in our community.
About the Event:
The Winter Wonderland will transform Coronation Park into a captivating winter attraction. The event is expected to run from 25th November 2024 until 22nd December 2024, providing affordable, family-friendly winter-themed attractions for visitors of all ages.
Possible Attractions Include:
- Ice Skating Rink
- Santa’s Grotto
- Live Entertainment
- Seasonal Food & Beverage Stalls
Please note: All attractions and stalls must be approved in writing by West Lancashire Borough Council before the event.
Event Location: Coronation Park, Ormskirk

Who Should Apply?
We are looking for experienced event management companies or organisers with a proven track record in delivering large-scale, high-quality events. Your focus should be on creating family-friendly and festive experiences.
The chosen organiser will be responsible for:
- Full event planning and logistics.
- Co-ordination with vendors, performers, and local businesses.
- Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met as per HSE guidelines.
- Marketing and promotion of the event.
- Collaborating with local authorities for permits and regulations.
