Main Council building Derby Street Ormskirk & Customer Services Point at the Concourse in Skelmersdale.

To support and maintain our critical services during this time, we have closed both our main Council building on Derby Street in Ormskirk and our Customer Services Point at the Concourse in Skelmersdale to the public.

We apologise for this inconvenience but we're sure you'll understand this necessary measure to protect both customers and staff from infection. Many things, such as bill payments and reporting issues can be done on this website.

Leisure Centres

All West Lancashire Community Leisure Trust-run leisure centres have been closed following Government instructions regarding Coronavirus. These are: Banks Leisure Centre; Burscough Fitness and Racquets Centre; Nye Bevan Pool, Skelmersddale; and Park Pool, Ormskirk as well as the golf course at Beacon Park

Parks

Following Government guidance on coronavirus and avoid social gatherings we have shut Ruff Wood in Ormskirk, Richmond Park in Burscough and Fairy Glen in Parbold.

Play areas

Following Government guidance on coronavirus and avoid social gatherings all children's play areas are currently closed.

Ormskirk Market

Due to the current government guidance on social separation, Ormskirk Market on Thursday and Saturday has been cancelled until further notice to prevent social gathering during the coronavirus pandemic

Household Waste Recycling Centres

Lancashire County Council (external link) ​have taken the decision to close all Household Waste Recycling Centres with immediate effect, until further notice.​ 

Libraries
