Armed Forces Day - 27 June 2020

We hope you will all join us in a safe celebration of Armed Forces Day on Saturday 27 June.

You can follow the online celebrations at Armed Forces Day (external link) and you can also #saluteourforces on social media.

Councillor Terence Aldridge, Mayor of West Lancashire, said: "Our communities in West Lancashire are very proud of our links with the armed forces and I hope we can all enjoy the many ways we can celebrate this special day safely."

Armed Forces Day is a national celebration and a chance for us all to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, including troops currently serving, service families, veterans and cadets.

The Council is also marking the occasion by flying the Armed Forces flag at the War Memorial in Coronation Park, Ormskirk.
